Handmade in Southern India, the plates are produced in a small kiln made from bricks and heated by an open fire. It’s a time-consuming process but the results are beautiful one-off pieces.  The pottery is part of a fair-trade project, established to provide training and employment for men and women from disadvantaged backgrounds.
