The Balance 800 mattress has a soft to medium support and combines body-contouring pocket springs with a layer of body-moulding memory foam. Below the outer stretch knit fabric is a 20mm layer of temperature sensitive memory foam that reacts to body heat, moulding itself to your contours. Small in diameter, the pocket springs are tightly nestled together with each one housed in its own cloth sleeve, freeing them from any neighbouring spring. The load on one spring is not affected by any surrounding springs, allowing them to contour perfectly to your body shape and provide piston-like support. Totally independent, the springs are not affected by varying weights and body shapes, resulting in a system that supports directly at the point of contact. Its a one-sided mattress that will be delivered vacuum packed in a roll. Once opened, theres no need to flip it over, only regular rotation is required.
