At 189cm long, The Marsden Garden Table And Benches will comfortably seat six, three either side. The set includes the table, and two benches, each 142cm long. Beautifully handcrafted from sustainably sourced tanalised pine timbers and bamboo. Both the table and bench frames are hand painted in a choice of two colours, Black Ash and Muted Clay. The tabletop and bench seat filled in with dark-brown bamboo slats. You can order samples of the painted finishes from our Samples section to see the colour options to choose from. Our Marsden outdoor furniture was inspired by the coastal area of Marsden, just a few miles from our workshop. Marsden includes a seaside village, rugged clifftops and sandy beach with a well-known local landmark, Marsden Rock. Wood And Finishes Sustainably Sourced WoodFunky Chunky Furniture’s shelves, mantels and furniture are made from sustainably sourced wood. Our wood comes from forests that are maintained following a globally recognised gold-standard of sustainability. Solid Pine Timbers And Bamboo To make these solid wood outdoor dining tables and benches we select tanalised pine and bamboo. These timbers selections are chosen specifically for their ability to withstand the great outdoors. Due to the nature of solid wood every piece of solid wood outdoor furniture will be different. Truly unique. One of a kind. Please note: All sizes and weights given are approximate. As we only use natural, solid timber, measurements can change slightly from one piece to another. Protective Finishes The tanalised pine timber frames are hand-painted in durable exterior paints. You can choose from Black Ash or Muted Clay. The tabletop and bench seat are made from bamboo that’s been heat treated to make it durable and perfect for outdoor use. When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Because you want the perfect colour for your home these finishes are available to purchase as small samples. Assembly And Care Some Assembly Needed The Marsden Benches will come fully assembled, and ready to be used once they’re unpacked. The Marsden Garden Table needs to be assembled. We have designed the table so that this is an easy process, and the outdoor table comes in five pieces complete with easy-to-follow instructions. You’ll need to assemble the legs and then insert the tabletop into the frame. Care & Clean Like all natural wood furniture, your outdoor furniture needs regular care and attention. The bamboo tabletop and bench seat are made from heat treated bamboo which has been specially treated and will withstand exterior use for many years with no additional treatments required, other than usual cleaning. We recommend that you refresh the painted timbers every year, using a quality exterior paint on the painted timbers. If you decide to closely match the colours we used on the painted wood, we would recommend Cuprinol Garden Shades Black Ash and Muted Clay as close colour matches (information correct as of March 2023).
