The Solar Supreme divan set combines a medium support open coil mattress with a stylish and contemporary faux suede base. At 26cm deep, the mattress is substantially filled, built to last and comes with a 5 year warranty against manufacturing defects. The spring system is made up of rows of hourglass shaped open coil springs, also known as Bonnell springs. Each spring is connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as the helical wire which runs from the head to the foot of the mattress. For additional support, the perimeter of the spring unit is strengthened by a thick rod-edge wire that supports the edge of the spring system, preventing border breakdown. Supporting the mattress is a solid top divan base with a wide selection of fabrics and colours, the option of storage and the choice of standard castors or stylish silver glides.
