The mattress has a poly-cotton cover which is quilted to the top layers of upholstery keeping the mattress flat and the fillings in place.. It has a medium support open coil spring unit, also known as a Bonnell spring. Open coil spring units are made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. Accompanying the mattress is our universal Solar divan base; it is a platform style, solid top that is designed to give your mattress a slightly firmer feel. The base is offered in a choice of modern colours and is available with a variety of storage combinations. There39;s also a choice of standard castors or contemporary silver glides.
