Designed with support and comfort in mind, the Tyne mattress features body-responsive pocket springs and a generous pillow top for extra comfort. Generous layers of hypo-allergenic fillings within the pillow top enhance the sleepers comfort, while the pocket springs ensure a superior support. Situated below these deep fillings is a traditional sleep system thats made up of small diameter pocket springs with each one housed in its own cloth sleeve. The springs move freely so the load on one spring is not affected by any neighbouring springs, providing piston-like support to each part of your body. A flat rod-edge wire is fitted to the perimeter of the spring unit to ensure the integrity of the pocket springs and allow you the full use of the mattress width. Just like any pillow top, the Tyne is an easy-care one-sided mattress that does not need to be flipped over, but regular rotation will retain its support and comfort.
