Its traditional hand tufting involves passing tapes through the mattress at regular intervals in order to prevent the fillings from becoming dislodged. This generally result in a firmer feel. Supplied by AGRO, Europes biggest spring providers, the interior of the mattress is made up of 12.5 gauge open coil springs, one of the firmest wires used in mattress manufacturing. The open coil springs are set in rows running from head to toe, with a thick rod-edge wire attached to the perimeter springs. This adds further strength and stability to the finished unit.
