The Birlea Castello is a striking 5ft bedstead that combines a traditional sleigh bed design with a luxurious and modern charcoal fabric cover. The deeply buttoned rolled bed ends are the obvious main feature of the bed, but concealed below its platform top is a large storage area. Depending on where it will sit in your room, you can set it up as left or right hand opening. This side opening design lets you have a matching footend. A fabric pull handle is attached to the frame and with the aid of an internal gas piston mechanism, opening the ottoman is an easy task to master. Fitted within the frame is a protective baseboard to keep your possessions of the floor, whilst ornate shaped wooden legs add to the traditional look.
