Manufactured in the UK by Aspire, the Cool Tufted Ortho mattress is upholstered in a soft to touch stretch knit fabric and benefits from a hand tufted finish. Hand tufting is a traditional method that ensures the deep fillings are held securely in place, by passing tapes through the mattress at regular intervals. Overheating in bed is an issue for so many, so to overcome this problem, the mattress features a breathable border and a Cool AC sleep surface. The interior is made up of hourglass shaped open coil springs, set out in rows running from head to toe and connected to each other by a series of spiral wires. To prevent border breakdown and provide edge to edge support across its width, a thick rod-edge wire is attached to the perimeter rows of springs. To enhance its longevity, support and comfort, we recommend that you rotate and flip the Cool Tufted Ortho mattress over on a regular basis.
