Hand tufting is a traditional method that ensures the deep fillings are held securely in place, by passing tapes through the mattress at regular intervals. Overheating in bed is an issue for so many, to tackle this the combination of wool, cashmere and silk natural fillings makes for a much more breathable sleeping surface. At the core of the mattress is a pocket spring interior; a sleep system made up of totally independent springs housed within their own cloth sleeve. This flexibility means the load on one coil is not affected by any surrounding springs, resulting in piston-like support to each part of your body. To prevent border breakdown and provide edge to edge support across its width, a thick rod-edge wire is attached to the perimeter rows of springs.
