A beautiful piece of French design, the Ploum has been shaped by the Bouroullec brother’s lengthy research into comfort and posture. Upholstered in a stretchy fabric, the points of stitching give a distinctive domed surface similar to that of button cushioning. An internal frame of tubular steel and wire mesh creates the organic profile of this sofa which is then covered in layers of different density foam to produce an inviting feel, with a bit of bounce. The slightly closed arms offer extra support and turn Ploum into a veritable nest, a modern looking, and comfortable focal point for the living area.
