A brilliantly modern form with contemporary styled materials and construction, the Ro’s soft yet sturdy curving shell also borrows from the Jacobsen’s pioneering designs by using a similar hard polyurethane foam construction with fibre glass re-enforcement. Ensuring a comfortable sit that also supports posture, the large seat cushion is made from firm moulded foam while two similar pads along the back, featuring button-cushion detail, provide ergonomic lumbar support. In combination with a super soft foam neck constructed from pressed veneer, the cushions mould wonderfully to the back and shoulders. Matching the Ro’s sleek profile while also contrasting its soft furnishings, the rounded cast-aluminium feet in brushed finish are angled to ensure the chair is always placed at a gentle recline.
