Our Marsden Garden Bench is beautifully handcrafted from sustainably sourced tanalised pine timbers and bamboo. At 142cm long, it’s long enough to comfortably seat three. The frame is hand painted in a choice of two colours, with the seat filled in with dark-brown bamboo slats. The bench legs are made from tanalised pine and hand-painted in a choice of two colours – Black Ash and Muted Clay. You can order samples of the oak and the painted finishes from our Samples section to see the colour options to choose from. Our wood comes from forests that are maintained following a globally recognised gold-standard of sustainability. Forests that are so well-managed that they help to fight deforestation and protect wildlife habitats for the species that call them home. Pine Timbers And Bamboo To make these solid wood outdoor benches we select tanalised pine and bamboo. These timbers selections are chosen specifically for their ability to withstand the great outdoors. Due to the nature of solid wood every piece of solid wood outdoor furniture will be different. Truly unique. One of a kind. Please note: All sizes and weights given are approximate. As we only use natural, solid timber, measurements can change slightly from one piece to another. Protective Finishes The tanalised pine timber frame is hand-painted in durable exterior paints. You can choose from Black Ash or Muted Clay. The bench seat is made from bamboo that’s been heat treated to make it durable and perfect for outdoor use. When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Because you want the perfect colour for your home these finishes are available to purchase as small samples. Assembly And Care No Assembly Needed The Marsden Garden Bench will be delivered fully assembled. All you need to do is unpack it and decide where it’s going to go in your garden! Care & Clean Like all natural wood furniture, your outdoor furniture needs regular care and attention. The bamboo seat is made from heat treated bamboo which has been specially treated and will withstand exterior use for many years with no additional treatments required, other than usual cleaning. We recommend that you refresh the painted timbers every year, using a quality exterior paint on the painted timbers. If you decide to closely match the colours we used on the painted wood, we would recommend Cuprinol Garden Shades Black Ash and Muted Clay as close colour matches (information correct as of March 2023). Delivery And Returns Turnaround & Delivery*We Guarantee Pre-Christmas Dispatch on all orders of this piece of furniture if ordered by 8th December. Orders placed after this date may still be dispatched before Christmas, but we cannot guarantee it.* As these outdoor benches are handmade and made-to-order we do require some time for manufacturing. This will normally take 2 weeks. They will then be dispatched with a pallet delivery company. The courier will co
