Upholstered in a quality damask cover, the medium support mattress has a micro quilted finish that sews the top layers of fillings to the outer damask cover.. This creates a quilted pattern that covers the whole sleeping surface, resulting in less upholstery movement, avoiding any lumps appearing in the mattress. Highgroveare so confident in the quality of this product, they offer a 5 year warranty against manufacturing defects. It has an open coil spring unit, also known as a Bonnell spring and offers a medium support. Open coil spring units are made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. To avoid border breakdown the edge of the spring unit is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress. Supporting this mattress is our stylish Solar platform style, solid top divan base. It is available in a wide selection of fabrics and colours. The base is presented with a diverse range of storage combinations and there is even the option of having standard castors or upgrading to contemporary silver glide feet.
